The Problem
A local St. Louis retailer asked The Miller Group to migrate their users in their Google Workspace, and their associated domain, over to their existing Microsoft 365 environment. They wanted to fully utilize the Microsoft 365 environment for their company and take advantage of Microsoft Teams for internal collaboration.
The Solution
We planned this project to seamlessly move this St. Louis retailer’s accounts and data from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
We started with migrating each user’s Google mailbox and files to Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint. After the sync was completed and email was cut over to Microsoft 365, we went onsite to assist the end-users with the transition to Microsoft 365.
After the migration was completed, we held a Teams training demonstration with a live Q&A at the end. We recorded the training and saved the recording in their Teams for quick reference for users that couldn’t make the training. Also, this St. Louis retailer has the peace of mind that their company data is backed up through The Miller Group’s Microsoft 365 backup solution.
